The first video is the first television interview of Nelson Mandela in 1961.  He was in hiding at that time and arrested the next year.

The other videos posted here pay tribute to the life and times of this great leader.

Of note is the fourth video with raw footage from Nelson Mandela's 1990 visit to Boston.  I was in that crowd and my former husband (as one of the organizers of the event) was on the stage!  Our three children then went on to sing for the Mandelas at Boston's Hatch Shell.  More than 250,000 people attended that historic event.
