CAROLE COPELAND THOMAS

As an award-winning TEDx speaker, trainer, and global thought leader, since 1987, Carole Copeland Thomas moderates the discussions of critical issues affecting the marketplace, including global diversity, inclusion, and multiculturalism. Now speaking in Person and on the Zoom platform as a Virtual Presenter, Carole keeps her pulse on working professionals' issues and regularly consults with industry leaders.
She has spent over 37 years cultivating relationships and partnerships with local, national, and international clients and sponsors, including State Street Corporation, Walmart, Amtrak, and Emirates Airlines. Carole served as an adjunct faculty member at Bentley University for ten years. She has spoken in nearly every state in the US and nine other countries. Carole has visited six of the seven continents and a total of 32 countries. From 2023-2023 Carole served as the Interim Vice President and Chief Diversity Officer at Curry College in Milton Massachusetts. Carole is the past president of The National Speakers Association-New England Chapter and served on Black NSA's leadership team. She has been featured in the New York Times, Boston Globe, Black Enterprise, ABC Radio, and CBS News. Carole is a blogger and social media enthusiast using various technology platforms to enhance her business development activities. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and active with the organization's Social Action initiatives. Carole is the mother of three children, is a mother in law and the proud grandmother of two teenage girls. |
Garth Dallas
Liverpool, England
Garth Dallas is a Jamaican born, Liverpool based UK lawyer, multi-disciplinary business consultant, DEI specialist and expert in ethical and socially responsible organizational and societal practices.
He sits on multiple Boards, including Alder Hey Children’s hospital, one of Europe’s biggest and busiest children’s hospitals, where he is the Board’s DEI Champion and provides oversight on issues like health inequities and inclusivity in shaping the hospital’s strategic direction. Garth is also a Board member of the Belong Cohesion Network, the UK’s leading membership organisation on social cohesion, offering academic research, consultancy, training, networking, thought leadership and events for members across sectors in the UK. Belong exists to connect, support and mobilise all those working to build stronger, more resilient, connected communities. He is a founding member of the Liverpool Commonwealth Association and co-founder of the Good Small Business Awards, the UK’s first Business Sustainability Awards exclusively for small and micro businesses, recognising excellence in small and micro business social and environmental impact and business sustainability. Garth has been a member of the organizing committee of the US Uk Summit on Race since its formation in May 2021. |

Bill Wells is President, W. Wells & Associates, LLC, a management consulting firm specializing in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) strategy development. In his work, Additionally, Bill provides customized human capital and talent acquisition & retention solutions as well. Bill also works closely with senior leaders providing coaching and guidance during culture change and transformation.
Previously, Bill served as Vice President - Global Diversity/Chief Diversity Officer (CDO) for Traveler's Insurance. Earlier in his career, Bill held a variety of executive and general management level positions in both the telecommunications industry, including leadership roles in Human Resources, Information Technologies, Marketing, Operations, Strategic Planning, and Business Development. Bill holds an MBA degree with a major in Marketing, a graduate certificate in Business Administration, and a Bachelor of Arts degree with a Psychology major. Bill is a life member of the National Black MBA Association, including former Chairman, and Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity. Also, Bill is married, has two sons, two grandchildren, is a freelance writer, avid music-lover, jazz enthusiast, and enjoys golf. |
