The US UK Summit on Race will convene an international audience on Friday, February 6, 2026, for a timely and powerful Black History Month edition titled “The State of Race — A Reality Check. Diverse Communities Speak Out.” This live global forum will bring together voices from both sides of the Atlantic at a moment that demands clarity, courage, and truth.
This special edition moves beyond symbolism and celebratory narratives to examine the lived experiences shaping race relations today in both the United States and the United Kingdom. Participants will hear real-time perspectives on current events, including important updates connected to Minnesota, as communities continue to confront racial injustice and social unrest.

The US UK Summit on Race is an initiative launched by the Boston-based Multicultural Symposium Series (MSS) and its Founder, Global Diversity Professional Carole Copeland Thomas. The Summit examines the impact of race in both the United States and the United Kingdom as both nations continue to struggle with racism, strife, and discriminatory practices linked to global systems of oppression.
Founded in 2021 following the first anniversary of George Floyd’s murder, the US UK Summit on Race has hosted 15 virtual events and attracted hundreds of participants from more than 16 countries worldwide. The Summit is sponsored by several U.S.-based corporations and continues to draw corporate partners committed to advancing global diversity, equity, and inclusion.
