Jevaun Nygren
Age 17
US
Jevaun Nygren is a 17 yr. old, native Minnesotan and going into his senior year at Breck School in Minneapolis. He has a long-time passion for motorcross/dirt-bike racing and has been doing this with his father since he was a small toddler. Additionally, he has learned a number of skills, including how to rebuild his engine and do various other repairs to keep his motorcycle (250 cc) running fine. Beyond this, Jevaun is also becoming an impressive golfer - something he first learned as a small child with his grandfather, and they continue to play together regularly. Soccer has been his more recent sport of choice, and he's been both a standout player and captain of his junior varsity team.
At his school, where he has been attending since pre-school, he is focused on academics, becoming proficient in the Chinese language (Mandarin specifically), and has also displayed talent as an artist with several very impressive drawings. He really enjoys using lead vs. paint for this type of work. Jevaun also works part-time in his mother's beauty salon, primarily as a receptionist and someone who helps clients with their appointments. Recently, Jevaun has had an opportunity to participate in HBCU tours (i.e., sponsored by a local Black church) and more recently visited/toured Howard University in Washington, D.C., where he seems to be very interested in attending circa fall 2022. Jevaun loves his sibling and his parents, Wes Wells and Jil Nygren, and is loved by his grandparents, including Karen and Bill Wells, Jr. |
