Her Excellency Dr. Justina Mutale has been globally acclaimed as one of the most influential and inspirational African women. In 2012, she was named 'African Woman of the Year,' sharing a platform with various African Heads of State. Dr. Mutale is a global impact visionary leader with over 30 years of experience in diplomatic and international development. She leads and serves on various boards across the globe, including the World Leaders Forum Dubai, headquartered in the United Arab Emirates. She also serves as a Global Envoy for Gender Equality at the International Women's Think Tank headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia (US). She has served as Vice-President of the United Kingdom's National Alliance of Women's Organisations based in the United Kingdom. Dr. Mutale is the Founder and President of the Justina Mutale Foundation and its University Scholarship Program, incorporating the $100,000,000 STEM & SPORTS Fellows Program for Masters Study covering 10 African countries. Through her Foundation, Dr. Mutale advocates for gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls in political leadership and economic empowerment by providing leadership and entrepreneurship training, mentorship, coaching, and quality education. Her Foundation also advocates for the retention and completion of tertiary education for young people from rural and disadvantaged African communities by providing them with scholarships to access tertiary education worldwide and upward academic, social, and economic mobility. Dr. Mutale has been honoured with over 10 Honorary Doctorates from different institutions around the world in recognition of her outstanding leadership and contributions to public service. She is the sole winner of the MANDELA 100 Prize and a recipient of numerous honours, awards, and accolades from around the world, including the 46th U.S. Presidential Gold Awards for Voluntary Services. Dr. Mutale has been hailed as one of Africa's shining beacons and is featured among Africa's most respected names, well-known faces, and influential voices who inspire the future, motivate the young generation, and raise the profile to positively alter the perceptions of Africa and Africans around the world. She is listed on various WHOs WHO lists, Power Lists, Influential Lists, and Halls of Fame around the world, including the World Book of Greatness, 100 Most Reputable People on Earth, 100 Most Reputable Africans in the World, 100 Most Influential African Women; 100 Most Influential Black People in the United Kingdom; and the Black+100 Hall of Fame, an Exhibition and Legacy of the top 100 Black Achievers in modern Britain. In 2018, she was honoured as Africa's Best Female Philanthropist by Tropics Magazine of South Africa. Dr. Mutale has been honoured five times on the same platform as the first President of the Republic of Zambia, Dr. Kenneth Kaunda, and on various platforms worldwide. NNEKA HALL

Nneka Hall is the mother of four (2 Sunshines, ages 23 and 18, an Angel baby who would be 13, and a Rainbow who is 9). She is a Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Advocate, primarily focusing on infant and maternal mortality within the African American Community.
Nneka's achievements are noteworthy, including this selected list of accomplishments: In 2014, she founded Quietly United in Loss Together (QUILT) In June 2016, Nneka was selected due to her work in the pregnancy and infant loss community to participate in the US Women's Summit as a Nominated Change Maker, which former First Lady Michelle Obama and Oprah Winfrey hosted. In June 2019, Nneka received an invitation to join the Ellen's Story Postpartum Depression Commission. In September 2019, Nneka became a Tufts University Community Evaluator. In February 2020, Nneka was Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley's guest at the State of the Union, and she was a Panelist at the Vinfen Moving Images Film Festival and the recipient of the Brinklow Humanitarian Microgrant. Nneka founded Mother IS Supreme Inc. in December 2020, seeing the need for surrounding postpartum care. January 2021, Nneka was appointed to the Racial Inequities in Maternal Mortality Commission. In November 2021, she joined Count the Kicks as an Ambassador. In September 2022, Nneka attended a meeting on Maternal Health hosted by Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley in honor of US Secretary Xavier Becerra when he visited Massachusetts. In October 2022, she participated in a panel on Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month Panel for L'Oreal. In May 2023, Nneka became a Policy Center for Maternal Mental Health Fellow and is pursuing a BS in Public Health. Her certifications are numerous, including certified birth doula, certified postpartum care specialist, certified childbirth educator, certified community-centered herbalist, certified international bereavement specialist, trained lactation consultant, certified Diaspora Death Doula, and more. |
LADY JANET BOATENG

Lady Janet Boateng is a Social Policy Analyst and Company Director. In the 70s, she became a teenage activist in the United Kingdom in the movement for civil rights, racial justice, anti-apartheid, and the campaign against nuclear weapons. She joined the Labour Party when very few Blacks and minorities were signed up as members, and she became very active in local party politics nationally and in the London Borough of Lambeth. She sought to address the problems of racial injustice and the underrepresentation of the Black and Ethnic minority communities, both at local government and in Parliament. She was a founding member of the Black Sections Movement, campaigning for Black representation at every level of government in the U.K. She was the youngest and first Black woman to Chair a School Governing Board within the Inner London Education Authority. She championed issues of underachievement, the over-representation of young Black exclusions, the removal of racist materials from schools and local libraries, and for an inclusive curriculum. She was elected as a local Councillor in Lambeth after the Brixton Uprisings, becoming the first Black woman to be elected in the London Borough of Lambeth and one of the three first Black Councillors. She served from 1982 to 1986 and was the Chair of Social Services throughout her tenure. She is a former member of Plan International's Board of Directors, championing their AIDS Orphans Campaign, as well as Board Member and Vice Chair of the Divert Trust, promoting alternatives to the Criminal Justice system and custody for Black youths who are at risk of offending and developed their Mentoring Program in London and Nottingham. The project was commended by Prime Minister Blair as a Beacon to be rolled out as good practice within the Youth Policy Sector. She is a supporter of the performing and visual arts and is married to a former Cabinet Minister in Tony Blair's government, Lord Paul Boateng of Wembley and Aykem. |
DR. ANNA PERKINS

Dr Anna Kasafi Perkins is a Senior Programme Officer with the Quality Assurance Unit, Office of the Board for Undergraduate Studies, University of the West Indies Regional Headquarters, in Kingston, Jamaica, where she manages the Mona Campus portfolio.
Dr. Perkins holds a doctorate in theological ethics from Boston College and a Postgraduate Certificate in University Teaching from UWI Mona. She teaches and researches ethics, justice, popular culture, sexuality, theology, scripture, and quality assurance. Dr. Perkins also supervises graduate students and teaches part-time at St. Michael's Theological College, an affiliated institution of The UWI Mona. She previously served as Vice President of the Senior Academic and Professional Staff Union, WIGUT (Jamaica), and a member of The UWI COVID-19 Task Force. She continues serving on The UWI Ethics Committee, The UWI Five Islands Campus Appointments, and SAEP committees. In the area of public service, Dr. Perkins is a Commissioner of the Broadcasting Commission of Jamaica (BCJ) and a member of the BCJ Licensing, Monitoring & Compliance Subcommittee. She is also a member of the Jamaica National Bioethics Committee and the Jamaica Council of Churches representative on the Legal Aid Council Board. She is a published author, with her most recent books being Ethics Amidst COVID-19: A Brief Ethics Handbook for Caribbean Policymakers and Leaders (2020), co-authored with Professor R. Clive Landis, and Rough Riding: Tanya Stephens and the Power of Music to Transform Society (2021), co-edited with Adwoa Onuora and Ajamu Nangwaya. |

Sixty years ago, Petronelle Kapemb was born in Mbuji-Mayi, the mining (Industrial Diamond King) town in the Democratic Republic of Congo. She is a professional Human Resources Manager and holds an MSc in Sociology HR Business and Human Behaviour Management / Operations/Compliance and an MA in Strategic Management and Leadership. She has a variety of skills and fields of expertise, from local government manager, immigration, and law to housing, community development, and interpreting, and many stories impacting migration issues. Petronelle's work is enriched by the passion and dedication of a growing number of people wanting to see a world where our immigration status does not define us, and everyone is treated with dignity and respect. She has a broad experience of refugee and migration issues, for over 19 years in Liverpool, England. She has continuously worked in the refugee, migration, and asylum sectors, leading to project development, securing partnerships and necessary resources to support people navigating the immigration system to access justice, and leaving homelessness and crisis behind in order to rebuild their lives. Petronelle serves as an operations and project manager and for The Congolese Association and Empreinte People's Hub Liverpool. She oversees the organization's projects and ensures that programs are focused on intended outcomes and the whole-life approach to performance. She manages the Complex Needs Team, HR functions, and several community development and education projects. Petronelle is a volunteer team leader in fundraising, communications, and campaigns work, working to ensure the organisation has the resources it needs to deliver against its objectives and to ensure that local people who migrated can live safely and with dignity in Liverpool. |

Sam P. Jalloh is a war survivor and former tennis player from Sierra Leone. He is now a touring tennis coach and two-time published author of How Tennis Saved My Life and Can't Break The African Spirit. Sam is a motivational speaker, storyteller, BBC Inspirations Awards Winner 2020, Ambassador for the Liverpool Heartbeat Charity (Receivers of the 'Queen's Voluntary Service Awards 2022,) two-time Tedx Speaker, and globe trotter.
