I learned a great deal team teaching with him over the course of this past summer when we designed a cultural competency course for healthcare professionals in Southeast Massachusetts. He uniquely weaves in the essential components of culture, diversity and inclusion in his presentations...along with a touch of poetry and jazz. Truly unique. Truly Beau. His family is well known in the circles of the National Black MBA Association, and that quest for deeper knowledge and understanding is a hallmark of everything the Stubblefield clan does both professionally and personally.

Ever upbeat and enthusiastic. I have seen him describe the endless construction on campus and its inevitable parking challenges as “progress in the making.” And I have seen him take the high ground in professionalism and dignity when career setbacks would have made the average executive cry “foul!”
The students love him. The community respects him. And his tall physique and booming voice make everyone stop and stand at attention. Dr. Keith Motley, Chancellor of the University of Massachusetts Boston Campus is a TRUE friend of the Multicultural Symposium Series and my various business endeavors. No entrepreneur can remain in business or grow an operation without a steady and supportive clientele. I am no exception, and I am so appreciative of the partnership I have had with Amtrak for many years. When I started the Multicultural Symposium Series in 2008 Amtrak was there to back me. I witnessed how much respect and admiration Maria Latimore garnered when I served as the Mistress of Ceremonies at a recent awards program hosted by the Black Professionals Group (BPG) at State Street Corporation. Maria received the highest award, and the praise and and congratulations lasted throughout the evening.
She is the role model for professional achievement with a strong dose of community concern and outreach. During the Distinguished Panel Presentation at the November 6th Multicultural Conference, Maria will share her wisdom and leadership strategies she has obtained as part of the BPG leadership team at State Street. Ms. Latimore is a project manager within the Client Operations process and in this role is responsible for deploying new systems and transforming operations to new strategic global models. In 2001 she joined State Street as a consultant in the Corporate Information Security (CIS) division, and later became an employee. While in CIS, Ms. Latimore led the implementation of major security systems, application security scan, and penetration test programs. Previously, Ms. Latimore was an independent IT consultant focused on deploying health insurance operational systems. She consulted with major insurers in Massachusetts, including Tufts and Managed Comp. For six years, Ms. Latimore worked at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Mass and Delta Dental of Mass where she held increasing positions of responsibility in IT project management. At BCBS she led the deployment and conversion of major systems that were instrumental in helping the company to significantly expand its’ HMO product line. Ms. Latimore is PMP certified and has a Bachelor of Business Management degree from Simmons College in Boston.
