Maria received the highest award, and the praise and and congratulations lasted throughout the evening.
She is the role model for professional achievement with a strong dose of community concern and outreach. During the Distinguished Panel Presentation at the November 6th Multicultural Conference, Maria will share her wisdom and leadership strategies she has obtained as part of the BPG leadership team at State Street. Ms. Latimore is a project manager within the Client Operations process and in this role is responsible for deploying new systems and transforming operations to new strategic global models. In 2001 she joined State Street as a consultant in the Corporate Information Security (CIS) division, and later became an employee. While in CIS, Ms. Latimore led the implementation of major security systems, application security scan, and penetration test programs. Previously, Ms. Latimore was an independent IT consultant focused on deploying health insurance operational systems. She consulted with major insurers in Massachusetts, including Tufts and Managed Comp. For six years, Ms. Latimore worked at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Mass and Delta Dental of Mass where she held increasing positions of responsibility in IT project management. At BCBS she led the deployment and conversion of major systems that were instrumental in helping the company to significantly expand its’ HMO product line. Ms. Latimore is PMP certified and has a Bachelor of Business Management degree from Simmons College in Boston.
