Know Your Sources! The horrific and shocking nature of breaking news shouldn’t stop you from becoming a well-rounded consumer of worldwide news. In order for you to form an intelligent decision about world events, you MUST develop a portfolio of news organizations that will deliver a diversity of perspectives for you to consider. Here is a list of a number of news organizations, associations, online resources and opinion makers so that you can keep current on world events and lead the conversation in meaningful new ways. Here is a selective list of news resources. I will periodically update this as new sources are recommended. All Africa http://allafrica.com All Africa is a voice of, by and about Africa - aggregating, producing and distributing 2000 news and information items daily from over 130 African news organizations and our own reporters to an African and global public. Asia Times http://atimes.com/ Asia Times (atimes.com), a free website, looks at regional and global issues from an Asian perspective; distinguishing it from the mainstream English-language media, whose reporting on Asian matters is generally by Westerners, for Westerners.
